One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. ~Carl Jung
The ultimate conscious-darkness is one’s inevitable eternal rest. None of us knows when or how we will meet death.
We simply know this shadow’d companion has walked with us since the day of our birth.
To help prepare and consider death with reverence and care, we consider the many kinds of losses we encounter.
The loss of a relationship, a job, a dream, or one’s health and vitality.
There are many changes and losses that define the whole of one’s life.

We are going to step with wonder toward the dark unconsciousness of death and allow it to illuminate our precious lives.
We’ll gather around for the tale of Baba Yaga while sipping warm cacao and weaving nature’s bounty into nets, shrouds, flags, or wall-hangings.
