Join me for our second Feed Your Soul Women’s Gathering at Souls Center.
~ This event is open to only women
~ Space is extremely limited - the first 45 women to show up will be allowed in 
~ Bring your own cushions, blankets, and folding chairs. I don’t have enough for everyone.
​~ Nursing babies are welcome.
~ Wee ones must stay home. There simply isn’t enough room to accommodate their need to wiggle.
~ This event is Free, although all dana offerings are deeply appreciated.

May is the celebration of Mothers and the celebration of Maya the Goddess of Spring. I’ve been thinking about how I wanted to honor Mother. The generations of mothers who birthed me. The countless women who nurtured, guided, and mothered me. The ways I mother differently; not only the people I birthed into the world but all those I encounter who need soft tender loving firm mother-care. I also want to bring awareness to our impeccable but often distant relationship to Mother Earth. Gaia as she is known.

​Join me on Saturday, May 27th, and let’s celebrate the mothers who were, the mothers who are, and the mothers to come as they’ve emerged like a growing branching tree from our beloved Gaia Mother.

​We’ll be doing a community art project. I’d like you to consider the ways you were mothered well and not so well. The ways you have healed the mothering wounds that may be generational or the healing that you are exploring now. Come create with me a Soul Center Mother Tree. We’ll be using actual Papyrus and hand-made papers.
(Pssst…for those of you curious about the gatherings I’ve been hosting at the farm for all these years, this is an opportunity to get a taste of that!)

One of the traditions I’ve been sharing is bringing forth a single word or short phrase that captures one’s intention for the whole year. There’s something about choosing the right word or having it choose you. Regardless, this word is something you can return to again and again throughout the changing seasons. 

Another tradition I have nurtured is making community art. There’s something powerful about a circle of women, putting a piece of themselves on intentionally created art.

For 2017, we are going to SEW INTENTIONS on the DAWN. That’s right. Needle and Thread. Ribbon. Markers. An appliqué piece hand-made by me.
