Weekly Yoga w/ Raven Water Blossom
Join me for weekly offerings at Souls Center Spokane. All classes are offered in person & online via zoom. Classes are beginner friendly and aim to be accessible to every-BODY.
Class Schedule:
•Mondays (Yin Yoga) 4PM PST
•Thursdays (Mindful Movement) 5PM PST
•Saturdays (Yin Yoga) 9AM PST
Monday & Saturday classes are a supportive and relaxing practice of Yin Yoga. Yin yoga is founded on embodying surrender and acceptance. This offering will invite you to ease into supportive postures to facilitate relaxation as you move into your evening.
Thursday Mindful Movement & Meditation
This offering is a gentle, slow flow yoga class that begins with a brief warm-up, focusing on connecting with the breath and setting an intention. The practice progresses with mindful movements, incorporating gentle transitions and postures designed to cultivate ease and presence. The session concludes with restorative poses, a closing meditation, and time for integration.
Below I’ve included additional information about each of these practices. Feel free to join for one or both practices each week, choosing the practice that aligns with you in that moment as this will change and unfold uniquely to your experience.
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a practice focused on opening up the body through more gentle expressions of poses. We hold fewer poses for a longer duration, using props so we are as supported and relaxed as possible.
What is Mindful Movement?
This offering is a gentle/slow flow class which begins with a brief warm up, connecting with the breath and possibly an intention. As we journey further into our practice moving through a Vinyasa/Hatha style flow and winding down into more gentle postures, easing into the closing meditation and integration.
Equipment Needed: Blanket/Yoga Blocks/books or pillows for support. (In person classes have equipment available for use).
Pre-Registration is required to attend this offering. Class donations of $10-25 are appreciated.
In person attendance:
Please register using the link below. In person class size is limited to 6 participants. If you would like to pay your class fees in person, please email [email protected] so that your place can be held.
Virtual Attendance:
Once registration is complete, the meeting link, ID and passcode information for the zoom class will be sent to the email provided during check out. Don’t forget to add your email address during check out so that you can receive the information for the event. ***Please register no later than 1 hour before class to receive the link same day. Registration completed after this time day of class, will receive the link post class***
*Post class videos are sent 24-48hrs after class*
