About Natalie

​Natalie is a certified yoga instructor having completed more than 800 hours of training here in Spokane with Lilananda Yoga Studio and with Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana University in Bangalore India.

​In my experience of practicing and teaching yoga, I find each class to be unique and different. In guiding classes, I provide opportunity for silent reflection that comes from holding poses for longer periods of time. I like to incorporate mantra, meditation, and an emphasis throughout on awareness of breathing. Meditation practice and commitment to studying and transforming the mind/heart, is the primary focus in my own yoga practice and I teach with the intention of bringing students to a place of quiet in their own minds, from which they can learn to meditate and access the real fruits of yoga. This quiet mind is also what opens up space for genuine creativity. I see yogic practice as a wonderful method to clear the way and cultivate artistic expression.
